For the summer of 2021 Hyatt aims to make guests’ stays more eventful with a campaign that adds enrichment activities to their hotel reservations.
In late May, the worldwide hospitality company “Explor-cation” introduced a campaign involving more than 40 destination-based activities on select Hyatt properties around the globe.
The activities get Hyatt guests to either take part in an outdoor adventure, learn something new or focus on their well-being.
“We always listen to our members and guests, and with the lingering desire to travel again, we know there is a growing need for exciting experiences that offer genuine connection, curiosity and exploration,” said Asad Ahmed, Hyatt’s senior vice president. , commercial services, America, in a press release.
Ahmed said the three categories in Hyatt’s “Exploration” program are based on feedback from members and guests. The results showed that their guests wanted to explore the outdoors and immerse themselves in nature.
He also mentioned that multigenerational travel and family travel are expected to increase from the summer onwards and then in response to missed celebrations last year. The third component of “Exploration” also proved to have a similar meaning.
“Meanwhile, many people who have put more emphasis on their well-being in the last year want to continue their well-being when they travel again,” Ahmed said. “With all of these in mind, we knew it was important to accommodate different types of travelers and offer experiences that meet their specific travel needs.”
With an overall focus on enrichment, Hyatt’s ‘Explor-cation’ experiences were developed based on activities that are unique to both the Hyatt property involved and its location.
More than 25 Hyatt properties around the world are said to participate in “Explor-cation” experiences. Over 40 offers must be made available.

In California it is Bi glad at Carmel Valley Ranch, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, will introduce children and adults to learning about an apiary of 250,000 Italian honeybees with information about a bee’s life cycle. Participants must also try their beekeeping plus will hear more about beekeeping science and enjoy a honey tasting.
Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa will offer Guided night snorkeling, complete with underwater torches to prepare guests to watch what happens on the reef after dark.
On Ventana Big Sur, and Alila Resort, also in California, Falconer Antonio Balestreri leads the resort’s falconry program. Balestreri will teach guests about the role of birds of prey in the Big Sur environment while performing floating demonstrations and holding meetings and greeting with the birds.
Other Hyatt hotels in the ‘Explor-cation’ experience campaign represent a strong geographic mix throughout the United States.
They are: Hana-Maui Resort, a destination of Hyatt hotel, in Hawaii; Suncadia Resort, a destination from the Hyatt, in Cle Elum, Wash .; Wild Dunes Resort, a destination of the Hyatt hotel, in the Isle of Palms, SC; Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Cedar Creek, Texas; Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM; Hyatt Place Page / Lake Powell and Page, Ariz .; and Hyatt Place Keystone, Colorado.
