According to Accor, it was “worth the wait”. That’s the tagline for a series of new loyalty campaigns for its Accor Live Limitless (ALL) program this summer. At its hotels in North and Central America, the “Worth the Wait” initiative includes four revived and renewed campaigns leading to more bonus points and perks for members of the loyalty program.
Accor is not alone in offering enticing summer travel promotions with bonus points and free nightly deals for members. Loyalty programs can help move the needle when it comes to encouraging travel, and members can be eager to complete their point balances or take advantage of the elite status they have achieved over the years.
The global hotel brand wants to encourage people to reconnect with loved ones to celebrate “milestone moments” that they may have missed over the past year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
ALL points can be redeemed for cash discounts on future Accor stays, and all elite qualifying points and nights earned through qualifying stays this year will be doubled to accelerate elite status earning in 2022. As a further temptation, these four loyalty campaigns will help points be added quickly, and no registration is required to exploit them.
Save up to 40% plus earn triple points
For reservations booked before September 6 for travel before the end of the year, ALL members can save as much as 40% on the room rate. In addition, they earn triple points for eligible fees during their stay.
This offer applies to stays in North America, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean, including resort properties like the Fairmont San Juan in Puerto Rico and city hotels like the 21c Museum Hotel in Louisville. Fans of the 21c Museum Hotel brand can also take advantage of its own loyalty program promotion to earn free hotel nights for one year.
Double points for group events
Meeting and event travel took a hit because of Covid-19, but many hotel brands joined the challenge of finding ways to make group events work both during and after the pandemic. Security protocols and cleaning programs help build trust, and Accor’s offer of double points for booking a group event can help even more.
For events booked before the end of September and taking place before the end of the year, the meeting planner, host or organizer will earn double ALL points. This includes beautiful hotels around the continent, including the newly renovated Fairmont Olympic in Seattle and the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Double points and bonus benefits for weddings
Wedding planners can take advantage of a similar double bonus point offer at qualified hotels. In addition to earning double points, the wedding party can choose from a list of extra perks including a two-night stay in the bridal suite, a free stay for the couple’s parents on the night of the wedding or a free one-year anniversary stay at the hotel one night among others. Qualified hotels include Faena Hotel in Miami Beach and Swissotel Chicago.
Double points for dining at Accors properties
When eating at an Accor real estate restaurant, ALL members can earn one point for every usable euro (as a French company uses the euro brand for its loyalty program, but for US properties this is converted from dollars). This can be a great way to earn points without traveling, as you do not have to be a guest at the hotel to earn points. The only requirement is to download the ALL app and link the credit card you plan to use in the restaurant with the app before paying the bill.
This restaurant promotion has been around for a while, but the recent iteration no longer requires diners to stay in a hotel to earn points when eating in a real estate restaurant. Earning points for dining at Accor restaurants is a worldwide offering.
Regardless of your comfort level when traveling this summer or fall, there are plenty of point-earning opportunities to keep the loyalty balance full.
